a word from the director
Ah the Yellowcard video. Ifilm had a music video making contest that our fellow "Dead Filmmaker" Brian Monahan, the one singing in the video, wanted to enter. After some back and forth discussions and listening to the song over and over again we story (pe)boarded the idea. I had a feeling that everyone that tried to make a music video the song would follow the lyrics word for word and not address the fact that the song version that we had to use was live. So, by way of making fun of the song, the band, the other music videos, and actors we have our video. We didn't win, but neither did any of the other good entrees. I stand by the belief that not only was this best music video in the contest, but the only one that gets better the more you see it. This was most fun I've had making a video from start to finish.

Really enjoyed seing this again. I picked up little things that was missed the first time during the contest. I'll admit, I'm still working on the Yellowcard title bit. Yellow chair yes, but Yellowcard? Smile!
